Enid F. Andersen, 88

Enid F. Andersen, 88, of Blair died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Crowell Home in Blair.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Grace Methodist Church in Kennard. Visitation will be Monday beginning at 1 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Enid Fern Rosenbaum was born April 24, 1924, on the family farm west of Kennard to Jap & Agnes Bates Rosenbaum.

She attended grade school at Colby and graduated from Kennard High School in 1941.

She married Ivan Andersen on September 22, 1941, in Blair.

After Mr. Andersen returned from the Navy in 1945, the couple farmed west of Kennard. They moved to his family's home place in 1990.

After Mr. Andersen's death in 1995, she moved to Johansen Manor in Blair in 1996.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors 1132, United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary and numerous card clubs.

She is survived by her children, Betty and Ron Andreasen of Blair, Susan Knoell of La Mesa, Calif., and Scott and Lisa Andersen of Blair; her eight grandchildren, Lisa, Rusty, Tim, Shellie, Chad, Amy, Robbie, and Christopher; her eight great-grandchildren, Brittney, Callie, Allie, Ashlyn, Jakob, Drue, Max, and Bailee; and sister-in-law, Iona White of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan in 1995; one brother, Melvin Rosenbaum; a sister, Jane Stewart; son-in-law, Jerry Knoell; and an infant brother.

Memorials can be directed to Kennard Grace United Methodist Church's Building Fund.
