James Todd Glass, II, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997.

Memorial services were held at Mount Vernan Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, Calif. on Nov. 21.

Mr. Glass was born May 19, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo. He moved with his parents to Blair when he was a young boy; attended and graduated from Blair High School and studied mechanical engineering at Dana College. On April 4, 1947, he married Wanda Jean Gilliam. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He worked for Westinghouse in Kansas City and in 1961; he relocated to Rancho Cordova, Calif., where he was a materials analyst program planner for Aerojet. He was involved in various space programs during his time there, including Gemini, Polaris and Apollo. He retired from Aerojet in 1987.

He coached Little League.

Survivors are his wife, Wanda; five children and their spouses, Pamela and James Williamson, Omaha; Patricia Glass, Rancho Cordova; James, III and Sylvie Glass of Fort Collins, Colo.; John and Elena Glass of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and Todd and Nancy Glass of Marlette Michigan; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
