James Glass, Sr. Dies In California

Mr. James Glass, Sr., of Coral Gables, Florida, passed away August 11th at El Cojan, California. He was seriously ill with cancer for several months at his home in Florida before being flown to California two weeks ago to be near relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 14, at El Cajon. He requested to be cremated and the ashes will be placed in the cemetery at Shenandoah, Iowa.

Mr. Glass is survived by his wife, Marcella and a son James, Jr. Also five grandchildren.

Mr. Glass was an accountant with the U. S. Coast Guard and lived in Blair for several years. While here, he and his family were active in the First Congregational Church.
