Services for Robert J. Meister, 60 of Arlington who died October 4, 1991 at his home are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 8 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Charles Swanson is officiating.

Robert J. Meister was born August 8, 1931 at Monterey, Nebraska. He grew up at Snyder, Nebraska and then moved to Fremont and later to Cedar Bluffs. In 1980 he moved to Arlington.

He was a member of the American Legion at Arlington and had served in the United States Army from 1951-53.

He married Delores Oltmer December 2, 1977 at Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his wife, Delores; four sons, Dennis Meister and Steve Meister, both of Wichita, Kansas and Jeff Meister and Wayne Meister, both of Fremont; a daughter, Tammy Meister of Schuyler; his father, John Meister of Snyder; four brothers, Lawrence of Schuyler, Paul of Fremont, Gerald of Sioux City, Iowa; and Rolly of Cedar Bluffs; four sisters, Elaine (Mrs. Dick) Taylor and Henrietta (Mrs. Leroy) Spizzirri, both of Omaha, Georgene (Mrs. Walter) Black of Perryton, Texas and Johnitta (Mrs. Vince) Guinzy of Elkhorn and six grandchildren.

Memorials may go to the Shrine Crippled Children’s Hospital.
