ALLEN T. JONES, 5, BURIED HERE SUNDAY

Allen Theodore Jones, only son of Lorion L. and Mary Allen Jones, was born January 2, 1934, and passed out of this life into the life beyond, at 10:00 o’clock p.m., November 30, 1939, aged 5 years, 10 months and 28 days.

He leaves to mourn his sudden demise besides his father and mother, four grandparents, sixteen uncles and aunts, several great uncles and aunts and great number of cousins.

Funeral rites were held Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. from the home in southwest Blair and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the funeral were William Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Deal and Mary Jane Deal, all of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Jones of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Milford Jones of Omaha and Mr. and Mrs. William B. Brunton of Bertha, Nebraska.

“Thy days my darling child were few; An Angel’s morning visit. ‘ Twas here, ‘ Tis gone, Where is it? I cannot tell to what sweet dell. The angels may have borne thee, But this I know thou can’ st not go, Where my heart will fail to find thee. Yet ‘ tis sweet balm in all our grief, Fond fairest boy, to know that Heaven is God’s and thou art there, With Him in joy.
