Funeral services for Hester Jennie Jones will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at 2 p.m., at First Christian Church in Blair. Rev. Ken Cooper will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Hester Jennie Jones was born in Washington County, Nebraska, on March 3, 1892, to Jacob and Sarah Smith Brunton. She was baptized on June 29, 1941. She was a restaurant worker during her life and was married to Frank Jones. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Thompson, Blair, and Mrs. Jessie Langewisch of Nickerson.
Pallbearers will be Reno Chiesa, James Chiesa, Allen Cuda, Russell Steffen, Raymond Thompson, Sr., and Ray Frank Thompson.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the service.
