Funeral services for Reynolds W. Jones, 78, who died July 15, 1992 at his home were Saturday, July 18, 1992 at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.
Reynolds W. Jones was born January 4, 1914 at Almo, Missouri to Oren and Carrie Reynolds Jones. At the age of four, he moved to Pisgah, Iowa, receiving his education at Pisgah High School.
He served in the Army Air Force during World Was II. He worked at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha as a nurses aid and security guard. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a security guard at AT&T for 20 years.
He married Elaine Maxwell January 4, 1992 at Blair. He resided at Lakeland Estates until moving to Blair in 1986. He was a member of the Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1251, Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3215 and First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine, two sons, Howard Jones, Omaha and Rey Jones, Carter Lake, Iowa; a step-daughter, Margaret Crogan, Tekamah, Nebraska; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Andrea L. Jones, Carter Lake.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
