Henry Gudeker

Henry Gudeker, a resident of the Dornacker school district for around a quarter of a century, passed away at his home on Saturday morning after an extended illness. Mr. Gudeker was one of the best known farmers in his vicinity and his many friends will miss him. He was a great lover of nature and took much pride in his flowers and it was always a great pleasure to him to work among them. He was a gentleman in every respect and highly esteemed by those who knew him.

The funeral services were held last Tuesday afternoon from the home. The writer has known Mr. Gudeker for years and feels that with his passing he has lost a person friend.

He is survived by a number of children and grandchildren, some of whom reside on the old home place.
