Services for Mildred Golden, 74, of Blair, who died September 13, 1994, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 16 at First Lutheran Church. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Mildred M. Golden was born September 1, 1920, at Stanbury, Missouri, to Henry and Frieda Stevens McMichael. She moved to Tekamah with her parents and attended school in Tekamah.

She married Opal Golden April 10, 1938, at Logan, Iowa. They moved from rural Herman to Blair in 1964.

She was a nurses’ aide for 20 years at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Opal, in November, 1993; one son, Larry; her parents; one brother, Eugene McMichael and on sister, Helen McMichael.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Mrs. Les) Miller and a son, Richard Golden, both of Blair; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Grace Miller, Temple, Texas; Darlene Robison, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Colleen (Mrs. Burt) Hiatt, Grant City, Missouri, and one brother, Curtis McMichael, Independence, Missouri.
