Norma M. Juul, 94, of Blair, died Wednesday June 27, 2012, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Norma M. French was born December 12, 1917, on the family farm in Kennard to William A. and Nora M. (Larsen) French.

She grew up in Kennard and graduated from Kennard High School. After graduation she worked several different jobs in Omaha until her marriage to Rudolph “Rudy” C. Juul on January 14, 1938, on the farm in Kennard.

After the wedding, she became a housewife and helped on the farm any way she could.

After the children had graduated and moved from home, she worked for Klopps Jewelry in Blair for 30 years. She enjoyed going to coffee every morning with her friends at the Blair Maple.

She was always good with different types of crafts and made several items over the years. She always enjoyed working in her yard.

The couple especially enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona in their later years.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lorraine Juul of Omaha; daughter, Judy Maher of Omaha; grandchildren and their spouses, Scott Juul, Michelle and Brad Horton and Vicki and John O’Donnell, all of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Chase Horton, and Michael and Kaitlyn O’Donnell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Christian Juul; three sisters and one brother.
