Graveside services for Walter S. Gollehon, 71, of Lincoln, who died Monday, March 24, 1986, at Veteran’s Hospital in Lincoln, were held on Thursday, March 27, 10:30 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park, Charles Gollehon officiating.

Military rite by VFW Post 131 and 3606 were accorded Gollehon at the cemetery.

Gollehon was born July 22, 1914, in Blair. The son of Marvin and Bertha Gollehon.

Gollehon was a World War II veteran and a member of VFW Post 131 and DAV Robert Flansberg Post 7.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille of Lincoln; two sons, Michael and Stephen, both of Lincoln; one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Georgiana) Young of Lincoln; three brothers, Clark of Blair, Marvin of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Gene of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Georgiana Gains of Lincoln; two grandsons; and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or to L.O.M.R.
