Mrs. Menno Good Died At Omaha Hospital Sunday

Sophia Carrie Good, wife of the deceased Menno Good, died Sunday, June 11th at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha. She was 77 years of age.

Mrs. Good had continued to live at the family home at 1202 Colfax Street following her husband’s death several years ago.

She was born at Centerville, South Dakota, March 8th, 1895, but she had lived in Blair for many years

. She is survived by a son and two daughters. The son is George Good who has been associated with the Arndt Hardware for many years.

Erna Good, who was associated with the late Dr. Walter Goehring as his assistant and office manager at the medical center at 15th and Colfax streets. Also surviving is Mrs. Edna Hunt (Mrs. Emory Hunt) of 333 South 18th Street.

Mrs. Good is also survived by three sisters and a brother. The sisters are Mrs. Edith Jensen and Mrs. Millie Ryan, both of Blair; Mrs. Dora Moss, of Denver. The brother is Verner Carlson, who lives in California.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 13th at the Campbell Mortuary with the Rev. Robert Albers of the First Lutheran Church conducting the service.

Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery and the following men were pallbearers; Russell Poulson, Raymond Poulson, Niels Poulson, James Hancock, Menno Larsen and J. T. Fitzwater.
