Elaine Gosker, 78

Services for Elaine Gosker, 78, of Fremont and formerly of Hooper, Nebraska, who died February 19, 1996, at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont, are 2 p.m. Thursday, February 22, at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. Mark Grorud and Rev. David Jensen will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Elaine Gosker was born November 9, 1917, at Arlington to Frederick and Della Kempcke Andreasen. She grew up on a farm in the Kennard area.

After her marriage, she lived on a farm southwest of Hooper. She moved to Fremont in 1974.

After moving to Fremont, she worked as a florist and as a sales clerk in a clothing store.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont and a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church at Hooper and its Ladies Aid.

She married Raymond G. Gosker January 26, 1938, at Hooper. He preceded her in death September 25, 1972.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bill and a sister, Velma Sauers.

She is survived by three daughters, Diane (Mrs. Michael) Whittall of Merfein, Victoria, Australia; Susan Pfeiffer of Guell, Ontario, Canada, and Julie (Mrs. John) Peterson of Lincoln, Nebraska; four brothers, Harry Andreasen and Jim Andreasen, both of Kennard; Howard Andreasen of Omaha and Bob Andreasen of Fremont; a sister, Arlene (Mrs. Robert) Peterson of Blair; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
