SERVICES FOR ARTHUR LAAKER WEDNESDAY

Arthur W. Laaker, 72-year-old farmer living northeast of Arlington, died at the Fremont Hospital Monday, May 2nd.

The deceased was born May 11, 1904, at the farm on which he spent his entire life. He was the son of the late Charles and Emma Laaker. He was married December 25th, 1926 to Lenora Scheer, who survives his death.

Also surviving is one son, Roland, of Great Bend, Kansas and a daughter, Mrs. James (Mary) Miller of Lincoln. There are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Mrs. Lenora Lund and Mrs. Esther Hansen, reside at Fremont.

Mr. Laaker was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at Fremont and funeral services will be held there Wednesday afternoon, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Alvin Bruenger, Pastor of Good Shepherd, will ……… (The remainder of the newspaper article is missing.)
