Robert “Pat” Kelley, 62

Services for Robert “Pat” Kelley, 62, who died suddenly October 29, 1994, at Memorial Community Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 2 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.

The Rosary will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Robert Leroy Kelley was born April 18, 1932, in Omaha, Nebraska, to James R. and Geneva Hines Kelley. He married Vivian Miller November 18, 1950.

He lived in the Blair area most of his life and worked the last 35 years as a tugboat captain on the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. He was employed by Pentzien Inc. of Omaha.

He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 571.

He married Joan E. Jones December 16, 1990.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, William Earl Kelley, and a sister, Dorthe Marie Jensen.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; daughters, Debra Kelley of Omaha and Patricia Smith of Canyon City, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Suzanne Kelley of Haslett, Michigan; William and Angie Kelley of Austin, Texas; John and Jolene Kelley of San Antonio, Texas; Kitt Kelley of Blair; Mark Kelley of Blair; Robert “Bob” Kelley of Herman; a step-daughter, Debbie Lareza of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany; step-sons, Kevin Jones of Omaha and Herb Jones III of Loveland, Colorado; 13 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a brother, James L. Kelley of Blair and several nieces and nephews.
