Roberts Was Related To Blair Residents

James A. Roberts, 39, who was killed early Saturday in a car-truck accident at One Hundred Nineteenth Street and West Center Road, Omaha, was related to several Blair residents. Mr. Roberts was an Administrative Assistant to Representative Glenn Cunningham. He lived with his family in Vienna, Virginia.

Mr. Roberts is a grandson of W. W. Wilkinson of Blair and Mrs. Roberts is a niece of Marjorie Metzinger, also of Blair.

Mr. Roberts, driving a rented car, collided with the rear of a semi-trailer driven by Thomas S. Akins of 720 Park Avenue, Omaha.

Mr. Roberts was a former news director and a reporter for KMTV. He joined Mr. Cunningham’s staff in December, 1963. Prior to his associations with KMTV he had been in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by a wife and four children.
