Mrs. Schmidt, Once A Blairite, Is Dead

Mrs. Henry Schmidt, 74, a one-time Blairite, died Saturday at Winslow following a heart attack. Daughter of Fred and Bertha Rautenberg, she was born Sept. 28, 1877, in Pierce County. She and Mr. Schmidt were married Sept. 1, 1895, and lived in Wayne County 11 years before moving to Blair. They went to Winslow in 1916.

The body of Mrs. Schmidt was brought to the Campbell Mortuary in Blair, where services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday. Burial followed in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her husband; a son, Otto of Winslow; two daughters, Mrs. Meta Schurman of Winslow and Mrs. Mary Hineline of Schuyler; one grandson; one granddaughter, three great-granddaughters, five brothers and a sister.
