Mrs. Catherine Labs, of 1416 State street, died at the Blair Hospital Wednesday, February 26th.

She was born in the former Maney School District south of Blair August 28th, 1901, the daughter of the late Fred and Anna Cornelius.

She was married to George Labs September 30, 1925, and they lived at Elkhorn, Nebraska, until they moved to Blair 13 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George and by one granddaughter, Jane Christensen.

Mrs. Labs is survived by her daughter, Mrs. James Christensen (Mildred) of Blair and by a granddaughter, Mrs. Darcey Butts (Jacque) of Beatrice and by a grandson, Marvin Butts and a sister, Mrs. Emma Petersen of Bennington.

Services are being held today at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. The Rev. Charles Nenow will conduct the service. Burial under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home will be made at the Flower Hills Cemetery south of Bennington.

Pallbearers will be nephews: Paul and Carroll Petersen, Wallace Benke, Calvin and Kermit Cornelius and Clarence Sorensen.
