Services for Goldie Quist, 88 of Blair who died September 16, 1994, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair were Monday, September 19 at First United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Goldie Margaret Quist was born November 4, 1905, at Blair to Joseph and Anna Mathiesen Fryman. She was baptized April 18, 1926, in the First United Methodist Church. She attended Cuming City School.

She married Edward W. Quist in Council Bluffs, Iowa, August 20, 1924. He preceded her in death September 9, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Fryman.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and William Phifer, Peachland, North Carolina; Norma and Don Olson, Blair; Elaine and Dareld Ahrens, Blair; eight grandchildren, Frances Williams, Beverly Heavener, Eric Phifer, Dean Olson, Dale Olson, Karen Hember, Cheryl Nielsen, Keith Ahrens; 12 great-grandchildren, Braxton Williams, Travis Williams, Ashley Williams; Daniel Olson, Jill Olson, Kiley Olson, Jody Olson, Marc Nielsen, Jason Nielsen, Rachael Ahrens, Rebecca Ahrens and Kristopher Ahrens.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
