Funeral services for Hazel Rasmussen were held Monday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Russell Terman officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Hazel died at the Memorial Community Hospital on Saturday, July 1, 1989.

Hazel Lorraine Rasmussen was born at Blair, Nebraska, on June 14, 1907, to Austin and Alta Taylor Renshaw. She attended the Gardner and Blair Schools.

On February 23, 1927, she married Harold W. Rasmussen. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Papio Merry Makers.

Hazel is survived by her husband, Harold; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Ardith Rasmussen and Bill and Gwen Rasmussen; two daughters and sons-in-law; Opal and Jack Jensen and Helen and Pat Mallette, all of Blair, Nebraska. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was grandson, Tim Jensen, and a brother, Leslie.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
