Dorothy Rosterman, 67

Dorothy Rosterman, 67, of Blair, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at Crowell Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

Dorothy L. Rosterman was born April 26, 1932, to Tom and Dora (Betts) Smith in Thedford. In 1945, she moved to Blair with her parents, and on June 18, 1949, she married Harry Rosterman. Dorothy worked as a cook at the Blair Hospital for many years. Due to her health, she lived at Crowell Home for the past two years.

She is survived by four children, Dolly Hindley of Blair, Kathy Chenaille of North Glen, Colo., Ray and Kathy Rosterman of Omaha, and Rick and Pam Rosterman of Grandview, Mo., 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; five brothers, Jack and Tom Smith, both of Rockford Ill., Jerry Smith of Kansas City, Mo., Henry “Sonny” Smith of Blair, and Don Smith of Alamogordo, N.M.; one sister, Helen Behling of Leesburg, Fla.; and special friend Leo Keegan of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband who died in 1957, and a brother, Robert Smith.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
