CHARLES LADD, 55
Services for Charles Ladd, age 55, who died March 10, 1991 at Veterans’ Hospital in Omaha, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with military graveside services held at the Blair Cemetery.
Charles Raymond Ladd was born on August 15, 1935 at Blair, Nebraska to Renard and Edith McMurtrie Ladd. He attended school in Blair.
In 1960, he joined the Navy and served with the Navy until 1962. In 1963, he joined the Army and served in the Army until 1972.
He later attended the Spartan Electronics School and also the Sparta Aeronautics School, both located in Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars, Herman American Legion Post No. 274 and the Herman Rescue and Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one daughter, Tina.
He is survived by one son, Renard, Omaha, Nebraska; two daughters, Rebecca Ladd and Renee Ladd, both of Blair, Nebraska; three sisters, Jacqueline Sheets, Arlington, Nebraska; Kathleen Haswell, Oakland, Nebraska and Sharon Shaffer, Westminister, Colorado; one brother, Ronald Ladd, Monte Rio, California and his mother, Beulah Ladd of Fremont, Nebraska.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
