LIFETIME RESIDENT DIED OCTOBER 23rd

Mrs. Mabel Ladd, 89, passed away on October 23rd at the Blair Community Hospital.

She was born September 14, 1878 to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pease at Blair and was married to Enock Ladd in 1902. They were the parents of eight children. Mr. Ladd died on March 20, 1947.

Survivors are Floyd of Gary, Indiana; Earl, Curtis; Mrs. Margaret Bartlett and Mrs. Alice Gustafson of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Anna Clark of Buel, Idaho and Rennard of Blair; and 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Mullen of Portland, Oregon. A son Howard died in 1948.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Mortuary on Thursday, October 26th. The Rev. Joel Kemmerer will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Milfred and Leslie Campbell, Lenard Sheets, Kenneth Johnson, D.M. Hannah and Claar Millrons.
