RAYMOND “RAY” LADD

Age 68, born Feb. 5, 1935 in Blair, Nebraska, passed away of congestive heart failure in his desert home in Eihrenberg, Arizona on March 10, 2003.

Ray and his family have been residents of Buena Park since 1958. His life work until he retired was as a Brick & Block Mason.

A good portion of his life was spent on the Colorado River with his family and friends enjoying their Dune Buggies, Quads Boats and Motorcycles just having a good time.

When he was home Ray, his sons and two brothers would sit by the house and reminisce about all the fish they caught and good times they had.

Ray is survived by his wife of 48 years, Georgianna Yvonne and three sons, Alan Ray of La Mirada; Dennis Ray of Anaheim; Kenneth Ray of Buena Park and eight grandchildren: Amber Renea Van Oart, Jason Ray Ladd, Heather Marie Crumly, Nathon Houtz, Joshua Ray Ladd, Dallas Ray Ladd, Christopher Ray Ladd, Dakota Ray Ladd. Ray is also survived by 1 sister, Evelyn Marchan of Rialto and two brothers Pete Ladd of Whittier and Jimmy Ladd of Norwalk.

Ray was a great husband, a caring father and a wonderful grandfather. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Former Blair resident Ray Ladd of Buena Park, Calif., died March 10, 2003.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Yvonne Metzler Ladd; sons, Alan, Kenny, Denny, and Joshua; sister-in-law and husband, Debbie and Darrel Boyce; brother-in-law and wife, Gerald and Kathy McIntosh; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
