G. Eloise Steavenson Sullivan, 88

G. Eloise Steavenson Sullivan, 88, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in Cheyenne.

There will be two separate funeral services held. The first will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Cheyenne. The second will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at St. Matthews Cathedral in Laramie, Wyo. Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery in Laramie.

G. Eloise Steavenson Sullivan was born May 30, 1915, in Omaha.

She was a school teacher and had been employed by Laramie County School District No. 1.

On Feb. 23, 1946, she married John F. Sullivan in San Francisco, Calif.

Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter AD, Phi Beta Phi, Daughters of the American Revolution, board member of the Very Special Arts Council, Cathedral Home Board of Directors in Laramie, Blue Stockings, and served on the inaugural committee for Ed Herschler and Mike Sullivan.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathaleen and James Hopkins, and Amy C. Sullivan; and a son, John S. Sullivan, all of Cheyenne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; two brothers, William and Alfred; and a sister, Amy.
