Carole J. Taylor, 59, of Tekamah, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, in rural Blair.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Tekamah Presbyterian Church in Tekamah.

Carole J. Taylor was born June 14, 1944, in Wayne to Warren and Dolene (Wills) Price. She attended Wayne High School.

On March 31, 1961, she married Paul Taylor in Pender. The couple moved to Omaha for six years after their marriage, returning to Pender for two years, and moving to Tekamah in 1969, where they have since resided.

For the past 27 years, Mrs. Taylor had been associated with Home Interiors, where she touched many lives. She enjoyed flowers and collecting dolls, but the love of her life was her children, especially her eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Taylor, and Arthur “Bud” and Teri Taylor, all of Blair; daughter, Laurena Dugan of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Warren Price of Norfolk, Clifford Price of Omaha, Marilyn Haas of Lincoln, and Coralyn Collins of Scottsdale, Ariz.

Memorials are suggested to the Open Door Mission.
