#1-Jens Andersen of Washington Dies Suddenly His Death Result of Accident of Eight Years Ago Jens L. Andersen, a native of this county, died suddenly last Friday, January 10th at his farm home near Washington. The attributing cause of his death was an accident suffered eight years ago which caused a partial loss of his voice and a pressure which finally caused his death. (coronary occlusion)

Born July 1st, 1892, he lived on the farm where he was born all but four years which was spent in Burt County. On March 22, 1916, he was married to Miss Anna Rasmussen. To them a son and two daughters were born. Alvin, the son, resides near by and farms the home place. The daughters, Clarice and Verda are at home. Other survivors are a brother, Andrew, and two sisters, Mrs. Elvina Nelsen and Mrs. Peter Olsen.

Funeral rites were held at the Washington Community church on Monday, Janaury 13th, with the Rev. W.F.V. Churchill of Bennington officiating and interment was made at Prairie View Cemetery.
