CELIA LALLMAN

Funeral services for Celia Lallman, 92, of rural Arlington, who died Monday, July 28, 1986, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital, will be held Thursday, July 31, 10 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church at Fontanelle. Rev. C. Vander Stoep will officiate and burial will be in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Lallman was born May 21, 1894, the daughter of Carl and Sadie Mengedoht of Fontanelle.

She grew up in the Fontanelle area and lived there all her life.

She married Albert Lallmann on December 8, 1920 at Fontanelle.

Mrs. Lallman was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church as well as the Women’s Missionary Society for many years. She taught Sunday School before her marriage.

Survivors include one son, August of Arlington; one sister, Mrs. Kermit (Clara) Schurman of Nickerson; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Roy, Art and Henry Mengedoht; and sisters, Anna Egbers, Ellen Sprick and Mary Kuhlman.

Pallbearers were Curtis Lallman, Alfred Egbers, Victor Mengedoht, Carrol Schurman, Orville Mengedoht and Darrell Kuhlman.

Organist was Esther Langhorst.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
