Mrs. Chris Wulf Died At Blair Mon. Afternoon

Mrs. Chris Wulf, of 654 North 15th Street, died at Memorial Community Hospital Monday afternoon, August 23rd. Mrs. Wulf was a life-long resident of Washington and Dodge counties.

Frieda Marie Wulf was born at Hooper, Nebraska, April 14, 1891. She was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church of Hooper and later, on June 7, 1911, she was married to Chris Wulf.

For many years they farmed near Blair but retired from active farming in March, 1958.

Last June Mr. and Mrs. Wulf celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Marina and a day of visiting with relatives and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Chris, and by three sons and a daughter. The sons are Marvin Wulf, of Hudson, Iowa; Norman Wulf of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Lester Wulf of Blair. The daughter is Mrs. Arthur Behrendt (Margaret) of Omaha. There are 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Edward, William and Harry Kerstein all reside at Hooper.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Albers conducting the service. Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. They will be Leonard, Duane, Allen, Eldon and Dennis Wulf and Keith Rasmussen.
