HELEN LALLMAN, 77

Memorial services for former Fremont resident, Helen M. Lallman, 77, of Peoria, Ariz., were held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at the First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Mrs. Lallman died Oct. 30 in Arizona.

Helen Rolland was born in Orum to Lars and Matilda Rolland. She graduated from Blair High School and Midland Lutheran College in Fremont. She later received her master’s degree from the University of Omaha.

On Sept. 20, 1943, she married Gerald Lallman. Mrs. Lallman was an elementary teacher and had been the educational director at Uta Hallee Girls Village in Omaha. She moved to Arizona in 1986, and was a realtor in both Nebraska and Arizona.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joann and Staff Flowers of Omaha, and Barbara and Bill Fricke of St. Joseph, Mo.; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Vicki Lallman of Aurora, Colo.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Eunice and Martin Kuhr of Blair; and Margaret Story of California; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Marilyn Rolland of Blair; in-laws, LaVonne Rolland of Blair; and Vernon and Donna Lallman of Hooper.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gus Rolland.
