OPAL M. A. LAMBRECHT, 87

Opal M.A. Lambrecht, 87, of Blair, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Opal Lambrecht was born Dec. 19, 1911, to Frank J. and Elfrieda (F. Trantow) Hovendick in Blair.

She attended the Maney School and was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran Church.

On March 12, 1930, she married Frank Lambrecht in Blair.

The couple farmed and lived in rural Omaha for 45 years, until moving to Blair in 1975.

On June 12, 1988, her husband died.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Roy Gramlich of Carroll; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Lois Lambrecht of Bennington, and Kenneth and Janice Lambrecht of Omaha; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Velda and Edna Hovendick and Adeline Lambrecht, all of Blair; and special friend, Mae Carlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank, and two brothers, Francis and Herman Hovendick.

Memorials are suggested to Blair Rescue or to charities/organizations of the donor’s choice.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
