PAUL LAMBRECHT, 90

Funeral services for Paul Lambrecht, 90, of Blair, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Mr. Lambrecht died Sunday, April 21, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, with a prayer service slated for 7 p.m., at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Paul T. Lambrecht was born April 15, 1912, to Ferdinand and Lena (Brandt) Lambrecht, in his parent’s home in rural Washington County.

He attended the Wranch School, District No. 25.

On Feb. 14, 1940, he married Lillian Dohse in Omaha. Mr. Lambrecht farmed in rural Washington County, where he lived for 60 years. He lived in Blair for 30 years, working in maintenance for the Blair Public Schools, Washington County Courthouse, and First Lutheran Church.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church and Plat Deusch Verine. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Lyle Christensen of Bennington; Carole Thompson of Bennington; Susan Dunn of Omaha; and Paula and Dan Perchal of Elkhorn; 16 grandchildren and their spouses; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lambrecht was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Ben; sisters, Anna Whited and Lina Nielsen; and a son-in-law, Roger Thompson.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
