David C. Nielsen, 68
David C. Nielsen, 68, of Blair, died Saturday, July 21, 2012.
A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Blair Congregational Church.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at Braman Mortuary, 1702 N. 72 St., Omaha.
Mr. Nielsen had retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret; children and their spouses, Chuck, Larry and Jessica and Jim and Latchmi; eight grandchildren, Cody, Marcus, Ryan, Taylor, Connor, Jada, Tanner and Hollyn; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carol Nielsen; and sister, Janice Dickerson.
