ROSE G. ADAMS, 78

Rose G. Adams, 78, of Fremont, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Shirley Schmidt of the United Church of Christ in Blair will officiate. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Closed casket visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Moser Memorial Chapel.

Rose G. Adams was born Aug. 8, 1923, in rural Herman to Benjamin and Emma (Obermueller) Thorndike. She lived in the Kennard and Arlington areas most of her life.

She lived in Washington state from 1948 to 1954. Mrs. Adams had lived in Fremont since June, 1986, and had been residing at Arbor Manor since January, 2002.

On Nov. 16, 1944, she married William Adams in t. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. Adams was a former member of the Arlington Community Church.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary Adams, and Ronald and Linda Adams, all of Omaha, Allen Adams and friend, Carol Muller of Fremont, and Delbert Adams of Blair, two daughters and a son-in-law, Willa Mae and David Bade of Fremont, and Patti Ann Thagard of Roanoke, Va., 19 grandchildren, and nin great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Kennard Volunteer Fire Department.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
