Mrs. Fred Guyer Died At Hospital Monday, July 2nd

Mrs. Fred Guyer, a lifetime resident of Washington County, died Monday, July 2nd at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. She had been in failing health for a number of months.

Pearl Edith Guyer was born May 10, 1903, at Herman, Nebraska, the daughter of Mr. and Ms. Alma Triplett of that place. She was 70 years of age at the time of her death.

She was married to Fred Guyer, at Blair, and the couple had made Blair their home throughout their married life. She devoted her life to being a housewife and a faithful worker in her church. She is survived by her husband and by two daughters, Mrs. Nadine Bader, of Claremont, California, and by Mrs. Marilyn McCormick, of Bellevue, Nebraska. There are 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist Church today, July 5th, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gordon Patterson conducting the service. Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Walter Petersen, Ralph Mencke, William Christensen, Clyde Sappenfield, Harry Ohrt and Pete DesRosiers.
