Ted Ellis Died At Omaha Friday

Ted Ellis, for many years a farmer in the Herman area, passed away in Omaha, Friday, May 26th, at the age of 70 years. He had been in failing health for several years.

Ted Frederick Ellis was born to Elizabeth and Fred Ellis near Tekamah, Nebraska, on April 15th, 1897. He attended a rural school northeast of Tekamah. He spent most of his life farming and was a World War II Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles, and one sister, Mrs. Allie Frandsen.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Frandsen of Blair, and Mrs. Rose Davis of Tekamah, one niece, Mrs. Clarence Nelson of Oakland, and two nephews, Ross Davis of Kennard and Carroll Davis of Tekamah.

TED ELLIS SERVICES WEDNESDAY AT HERMAN

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Herman Baptist Church for Ted Ellis, 70, former Herman resident who died in Omaha Friday.

Survivors are sisters Mrs. Carl Frandsen of Blair and Mrs. Rose Davis of Tekamah.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
