SERVICES HELD ON FRIDAY FOR GARY LAMPRECHT

Funeral services were held Friday, April 3, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Millard for Gary A. Lamprecht, who died April 1, 1981, in Omaha at the age of 24. A prayer service was recited Thursday.

Rev. James R. Kautz and Rev. Ronald E. Gocken conducted the services. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn.

Gary A. Lamprecht was born December 7, 1956, in Omaha to LaVerne and Lois Kopke Lamprecht. He was baptized April 28, 1957, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn and was confirmed May 21, 1972, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millard.

He graduated from Millard High School in 1975 and attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. In the spring of 1976, he began farming with his father.

On May 18, 1979, he married Christine Diane Enterline at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church. She survived him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Herman Kopke, and by his grandfather, John Lamprecht, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Christine D. Lamprecht of Papillion; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Lamprecht, of Papillion. A sister and brother-in-law, James and Kathleen Keller of Kennard; grandparents, Herman Kopke of Papillion, Mrs. John Lamprecht, Sr., of Waterloo; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Enterline of Omaha; one niece and two nephews also survive him.

Pallbearers were Larry Stratbucker, Leon Schmidt, Lynn Lamprecht, Loren Lamprecht, Bob Larsen and Wyatt Schroeder.

Mrs. Sharon Anderson was organist.

Kahler-Dolce Mortuary was in charge of arrangements for the services.
