DALE LANCE, 69

Dale Lance, 69, of Pueblo, Colorado, died Thursday, July 1, 1999.

Services were Tuesday, July 6, at Imperial Funeral Chapel in Pueblo, Colorado.

Burial was in the Rocky Ford Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colo.

Dale Lance was born March 13, 1930 to Joe and Margaret (Reeder) Lance in LaJunta, Colo.

He was a 20-year resident of Trinidad, Colo. where he worked for Keebler and was known as the “Cookie Man.”

After managing Pixie Discount, he moved to Pueblo in 1978 and sold real estate for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; daughters and sons-in-law, Daleen and Curtis Robeson of Blair, Cheryl and Adolfo Lujan and Marcia Lance; daughter-in-law, Denise Lance; sisters, Gwen and her husband, Bob Christianson, and Shirley and her husband, O.B. Stauffer, Leora and her husband, John Hemphill, and Donna and her husband, Jarold Sitton; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy; brother, Larry Lance; granddaughter, Michelle Lujan; parents, J.W. “Buzz” and Margaret Lance; and father and mother-in-law, Hugh and Elsie Reid.
