Marie E. Waldenstrom, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997 at a hospice in Phoenix, Ariz.

Private family memorial and internment will be held at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery at a later date.

Mrs. Waldenstrom was born in Iowa City on Aug. 19, 1911. She had lived in Fort Calhoun until moving to Fremont in 1973. She moved to Phoenix in 1977. She married C. H. (Harold) Waldenstrom in 1942.

Survivors are a sister, Margaret Berhenke of Longmont, Colo.; two grandsons and one great-grandson.

Her husband preceded her in death.
