Mrs. Walkenhorst Services Conducted

Services for Mrs. John (Anna Matilda Amanda Goesling) Walkenhorst of Omaha, former Arlington resident, were held in Omaha.

Mrs. Walkenhorst was born May 1, 1835 in Quincy, Ill. The Goesling family moved to a farm near Arlington when she was a baby. On Feb. 20, 1906, she married John Henry Walkenhorst and the couple resided in Arlington until eight years ago, when they moved to Omaha.

Survivors are the widower; nine children, Mrs. H.C. (Florence) Parker, National City, California; Mrs. C.G. (Viola) Decker, Omaha; Elmer Walkenhorst, Omaha; Raymond Walkenhorst, Norborne, Mo.; Harold Walkenhorst, Omaha; Vernon Walkenhorst, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Mae) McMullin, Anaheim, Calif., Mrs.. Edward (Bernita) Gillham, Omaha; and Earl Walkenhorst, Reno, Nev,; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, William Goesling, Arlington; and sisters, Mrs., Fred Walkenhorst, Ogallala, and Mrs. Harry Pepmiller, Perry, Iowa.
