Services for Elmer H. Walkenhorst, 83 of Omaha are 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 24 at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Carla; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John Brown of Omaha; sons and daughter-in-law, Jim and Julie Walkenhorst, Norton Shores, Michigan; and John and Debbie Walkenhorst of Omaha; sisters, Florence Parker, National City, California; Viola Decker, Omaha; May McMullen, Charlotte, North Carolina; Bernita Gillham, Seattle, Washington; brothers, Harold Walkenhorst, Blair; Vernon Walkenhorst, San Diego, California and Earl Walkenhorst, Reno, Nevada; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the giver’s favorite charity.
