HELEN LANG, 78

Helen Lang, 78, of Blair, died Friday, April 18, 2003, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were Monday, April 21, in the chapel at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home. Interment was in the Herman Cemetery.

Helen Lang was born June 26, 1924, in Hooper to Ernest and Emma Lang. She moved to Herman as a small child and grew up in the vicinity.

She was a recipient of the Ak-Sar-Ben Good Neighbor award, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She had been a resident at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home for 32 years.

She is survived by two brothers and four sisters and their spouses: Neil and Janet Lang of Arlington, Fern and Orland Krohn of Hooper, Katherine Schuett of Fremont, Donald and Shirley Lang, Selma Haig and Elva and Roy Hansen, all of Blair; a brother-in-law, Robert Brodersen of Oakland, and sister-in-law, Arlene Lang of Blair.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Lang, and a sister, Pearl Brodersen.

Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
