Services were held Wednesday, February 15, at First Baptist Church in Fremont for Luella Andersen, 97, who died February 13, 1984, at the Fremont home of her niece, Dorothy Bartley.

The Rev. Leland Foreman and the Rev. John Ashley officiated. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery.

Luella Andersen was born June 20, 1886, in the community of Admah in Washington County. She moved to Fremont as a child and her parents homesteaded in the area around the Brestwoode Inn.

She moved to San Pedro, California, in 1945, and worked at the YMCA. In 1968, she retired and returned to Fremont.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fremont and the church circle.

Memorials may be sent to the church.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
