Services for Ann Ryder “Cookie” Langston, 51 of Verbena, Alabama, who died March 19, 1995 at her home were Wednesday, March 22 at Bethany Miss. Baptist Church in Verbena. Rev. Paul Armstrong officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ann Ryder Langston was born June 29, 1943 in Iowa. She married James D. Langston and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, James D. Langston of Verbena; her parents, Ellen and Raymond V. Ryder, Blair; a sister, Hazel Smith; children, Charlotte and Tim Cleckler of Clanton, Alabama, James Earl and Stacy Langston of Billingsley, Alabama and Randy and Carol Langston of Clanton and eight grandchildren.

Martin Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of arrangements.
