KENNETH LANTZ, SR., 70

Kenneth Lantz, Sr., 70, of Omaha died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Roeder Mortuary, 50th and Ames. A private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Kenneth “Duke” Lantz was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Omaha to Lillian (Wulf-Lantz-Brooks) and Raymond R. Lantz. He was raised by his stepfather, Clyde Brooks. He attended school through the ninth grade in Omaha, then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 to serve during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1953.

In 1990, he retired from the City of Omaha Street Department after 33 years of service.
