Funeral services were held this (Monday) morning at the Campbell Mortuary for Mrs. Beatrice Walkup, 76 years of age who died Friday at the home of Mrs. Lillian Hanna, 1252 Colfax St.

The Rev. Clair Olney, Blair Congregational Church, officiated with interment in the Fairfax Cemetery.

Mrs. Walkup was a cousin of the late A.E. Hanna, and has been making her home in Blair for the past five years.

She is survived by a son, Melvin, of Perry, Ia; a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Jensen of Seattle, Wash.; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Smith of Olathe, Kansas.

Mrs. Walkup was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was formerly a sales lady at Brandeis Store in Omaha for a number of years before coming to Blair.
