Mrs. Wallingford Dies At Wisner

Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Ann Harkins Wallingford, 70, were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the Arlington Methodist Church, interments taking place in Arlington Cemetery.

Mrs. Wallingford, a resident of Arlington many years, died Monday morning at her home near Wisner, where she had resided about a year. She had enjoyed good health until 11 years ago, when she fell and fractured her hip. For the past five years she suffered failing eyesight.

All her life was spent in Nebraska. She was born August 22, 1867, near Arlington, and was married to C. L. Wallingford September 17, 1895.

Surviving are her husband, six children, Lila Hanslip, James, Jesse, Pearl Henrickson and Louis, all of Fremont and Hazel Greenwood of Nebraska City; one sister, and one brother.

MRS. WALLINGFORD FUNERAL RITES

Funeral services for Mrs. C. L. Wallingford were held from the Methodist church of Arlington on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

Mrs. Wallingford died on Monday morning at her home near Wisner where she has resided for the past year. She had been in failing health since breaking her hip about eleven years ago.

As Nettie Ann Harkins she was born on August 22, 1867 near here, and on September 17, 1895 she was married to Charles L. Wallingford. She made her home near here, until about a year ago they moved to Wisner.

Besides her husband, she is survived by six children: Lida Hanslip, James, Jesse, Pearl Hendrickson and Louis, all of Fremont, and Hazel Greenwood of Nebraska City. One sister and one brother also survive.
