Maggie K. Walsh, 16, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at her home in Fort Calhoun.

Funeral services were Monday, July 27, at Country Bible Church in Blair.

Maggie K. Walsh was born April 25, 1993, in Blair to David and Julie Walsh of Fort Calhoun. At two weeks of age, she underwent a heart repair to correct three major defects.

She is survived by her parents; siblings, Lucas V. Walsh of Omaha and fiancée, Jennifer Holz of Central City; Kayla L. Walsh and fiancé, Drew Dengel, both of Omaha; Joe V. Walsh of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Sarah K., Thomas V., Nicholas V. and Molly K. Walsh all of Fort Calhoun; grandparents, Mary Ruth Cox of Missouri Valley, Iowa, and Nellie and Gene Weldon of Arnolds Park, La.; nine uncles; six aunts; 19 cousins; 10 nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Greg and Sue Simpson of Fort Calhoun and Tami Ausherman of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Don F. Cox and Thomas M. Walsh.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
