CHARLES LARSEN DIED HERE SUNDAY

Charles Larsen, Blair man for whose family a fund was established a week ago, died at Memorial Community Hospital last Sunday, June 2nd. He had been hospitalized there for three weeks.

Mr. Larsen had suffered many months with Hodgkins disease and had, subsequently been unable to work. The family had been hard pressed financially and friends started the fund a week ago. Money is being collected for the family at the Washington County Bank and at this time $192.50 has been received. Added contributions are needed to care for expenses of Mr. Larsen’s illness and the accumulated needs of the family.

Charles Bradley Larsen was born at Muscatine, Iowa, May 8, 1930, and was 33 years of age at the time of his death. He was a truck driver and the family had lived here for a number of months.

He is survived by his wife, Doris, and by his children, James, Larry and Patricia.

Also surviving are five brothers and sisters. Melvin Larsen and Anthony Larsen both live in Montana. A third brother, Joseph Larsen, lives in Denver. A sister, Mrs. Jeanette Marshall lives in Denver and another sister, Mrs. Betty Middow lives at Gordon, Nebraska. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Larsen, reside at Dillon, Montana.

Burial was made in Holy Cross cemetery at Blair this morning, June 6th. Father Patrick Nolan officiated and the Campbell Mortuary was in charge of the services.
