ERVIN P. LARSEN IS VICTIM OF A HEART ATTACK

Ervin P. (Fat) Larsen, well known Blair contractor and builder, died suddenly early Sunday morning, the apparent victim of a heart attack. The Blair Rescue Squad was called to the Larsen home at 1837 Grant Street shortly after 5:00 a.m. Sunday. Treatment was to no avail and he had died before reaching the hospital.

He was born September 13, 1918 at Herman, Nebraska, and was, therefore, 53 years of age.

He entered the building and contracting business a number of years ago and has had a part in many construction projects throughout the community.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elaine Fagerquist and by three daughters and a son. The children are Mrs. Linda Chase of Omaha; Mrs. Charyl Wetzel of Arlington, Washington; Peggy Larsen and Kenneth Larsen, both of whom are still at home. There are two grandchildren.

He has two brothers, Chester Larsen of Herman and LeRoy Larsen of Omaha. A sister, Mrs. Ray Hooks (Gladys) lives at Tucson, Arizona.

He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Hans C. Larsen of Blair.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Albers conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Louis Murdock, Marvin Stier, Dr. Milton Olson, William Hardy, Donald Conrad, and Ernest Andersen.
